As well as the Access Sessions there will be workshops and seminars taking place during the show including the popular "Spotlight on Local Authorities" hosted by The National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA), as well as a session on crowd management. A session from Interchange Communications will also be taking place.

Crowd Safety Management Workshop
Wednesday 21 January 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Bucks New University and the International Centre for Crowd Management & Security Studies cover issues such as 'What is Crowd Safety Management?', 'Ingress & Egress Safety Management', 'Stewarding Management' and 'Legal Issues in Crowd Safety Management'.
The workshop will be chaired by leading crowd safety expert Mark Upton, founder chairman of Showsec International. Mick has over 40 years experience in crowd management and is a key figure in developing educations in Crowd Safety Management. He will be joined by Mark Hamilton, Managing Director of G4S Events and founder of Rock Steady and Ben Challis, a UK lawyer specialising in entertainment law and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Mark has delivered crowd safety management at a vast array of events, from world class sports events to super scale concerts and music festivals. Ben acts as General Counsel for 3A Entertainments and is Executive Producer for the television coverage of the Glastonbury Festival and Editor of Music Law Updates and co-founder of A Greener Festival.com
